Simply pull the probe away from the thermometer body and it will turn on automatically. Then insert the thermometer a couple of centimeters into the food. In a few seconds, the accuracy temperature will be shown on the LED screen. Press the on/off button to turn it off or close the probe to let it shut down automatically.
